چکیده

In this paper, for the above discrete system of pure-delay type, by improving the former work (2002, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 273, 492-511) which extended the averaged condition offered by S. Ahmad and A. C. Lazer (2000, Nonlinear Analysis 40, 37-49), we offer conditions of persistence, and considering a Lyapunov-like discrete function to the above discrete system, we establish sufficient conditions of global asymptotic stability.

Extinction in Nonautonomous Discrete Lotka-Volterra Competitive System with Pure Delays and Feedback Controls

The coexistence and global stability of population models are of the interesting subjects in mathematical biology. Many authors have argued that the discrete time models are governed by differential equations which are more appropriate than the continuous ones to describe the dynamics of population when the population has nonoverlapping generations, a lot has been done on discrete Lotka-Volterr...

Global attractivity of positive periodic solution to periodic Lotka – Volterra competition systems with pure delay ✩

We consider a periodic Lotka–Volterra competition system without instantaneous negative feedbacks (i.e., pure-delay systems) ẋi (t)= xi(t) [ ri (t)− n ∑ j=1 aij (t)xj ( t − τij (t) )] , i = 1,2, . . . , n. (∗) We establish some 3/2-type criteria for global attractivity of a positive periodic solution of the system, which generalize the well-known Wright’s 3/2 criteria for the autonomous delay l...

GLOBAL ATTRACTIVITY OF AN n-SPECIES NONAUTONOMOUS “PURE-DELAY-TYPE” COMPETITION SYSTEM

Abstract. In this paper, we study a non-autonomous n-species “pure-delay-type” competitive system, which can be seen as the generalization of the traditional “puredelay-type” Lotka-Volterra competition system. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, some sufficient conditions which guarantee the global attractivity of the positive solutions of the system are obtained. An example shows t...

PERMANENCE IN NONAUTONOMOUS DISCRETE LOTKA–VOLTERRA n-SPECIES COMPETITIVE SYSTEMS WITH PURE-DELAYS AND FEEDBACK CONTROLS

The paper discusses nonautonomous discrete Lotka–Volterra type n-species competitive systems with pure-delays and feedback controls. New sufficient conditions for which a part of the n-species remains permanent and others is driven to extinction are established by using the method of multiple discrete Lyapunov functionals and introducing new analysis technique. Our results show that the feedbac...

Dynamic Behaviors of a Nonautonomous Discrete Predator-Prey System Incorporating a Prey Refuge and Holling Type II Functional Response

A nonautonomous discrete predator-prey system incorporating a prey refuge and Holling type II functional response is studied in this paper. A set of sufficient conditions which guarantee the persistence and global stability of the system are obtained, respectively. Our results show that if refuge is large enough then predator species will be driven to extinction due to the lack of enough food. ...
